Dysnomia is a slow fashion label, inspired by punk rock aesthetics while maintaining sustainable approaches to making. The designer, Phoebe-Rose Gray, created the brand in late 2024, with a mission to use her craft to make pieces that evoked power and strength in femininity. 

The name Dysnomia stems from Greek Mythology. Phoebe-Rose was inspired by the Goddess of Chaos, Eris. a feminine figure that embodied power, wrath and authority. An unapologetic rejection of the patriarchal desires of what a woman should be. Eris birthed eight children, one of which being Dysnomia, the daemon of lawlessness. Dysnomia denies the status quo. Authentically who she is, Dysnomia is a force of nature not to be reckoned with. Phoebe-Rose found solace in the idea of embracing chaos in life to feed it back into her art, to truly experience what it is to be mortal.
